These were so good! I loved how easy the recipe was, and they tasted great. I would definitely make these again.
BUT I would make just half a batch. They were awesome that first day, but after that the flavor was not as good, and they were very crumbly. So I would just make enough to use up at a meal. The recipe makes about 20 dinner rolls, so would be perfect for a holiday dinner!
1 hour rolls(what is on our menu)
1 c. warm water 1/4 c. sugar1/3 c. oil2 Tbsp. yeast1 tsp. salt1 egg, beaten3 1/3 c. flour
In a bowl, mix together the warm water, sugar, oil, and yeast. Let stand for 15 minutes until yeast mixture is bubbly.Stir in the salt and egg to yeast mixture.Gradually add flour. Dough will be sticky, but add enough flour until manageable. Let the dough rest in the bowl for 10 minutes.Spray your hands with cooking spray and form dough into balls. Place balls (so they don't touch) on a cookie sheet. Let rise for 20 minutes.Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10 minutes.
